Has this always been the case?

Regarding getting 15k points for spending $30k, Dan keep saying it still alive, but when I spoke to customer support they said its only if you got your card before 2015. I got mine in January.. Is this true or should I call back?
Same here. Not sure why Dan keeps saying it's confirmed that it still works

Usually the simplest reasoning is the correct one.
I called and chatted with amex myself and got the same answer, I have no reason to believe it isn't true.
If anyone got the card after January and did get the bonus, I'll be very happy to be proven wrong

I did complete the spend, and my understanding of his past was that he did as well. I may be wrong about that but my experience still stands
