maybe not the place, but can someone please clarify me something. if i get an rsvp/invitation in mail or online for a card that i either had already(reg credit or charge amex) or had have in the last 12 months (-business amex-also does the card actually have to be closed) can i get approved and still get points? or can just never get points for a reg card and i have to wait a year for business?

Does it have 12m language or not? Also in general you can get a card but in regards to getting the points with Biz in general is 12m after closing and with personal is currently once per lifetime.

reason i was asking - with the recent rsvp code being leaked online i thought i saw the with the code this rule doesn't apply.
with the new perks for the gold card-are they considering it a new product which would mean yo can apply and get the points?

I don't believe so. It is just an additional benefit.

ah..so if the invitation doesn't have 12 month language for business then should be fine.
was the last code that was online-did that have the 12 month language?

Not saying it isn't accurate, but I don't think I've seen a confirmed report of someone who was within the 12 month period getting the bonus again due to the fact that it didn't contain the rule.

the MB plat , that's also a one time deal ?
just signed up for ameriprize plat w first year free -that's also considered a separate product

I got the bonus again, when I applied without the 12 months period.

Both Biz plat, got 100k for 10K spent in Feb and got in may 150k for 15K spent.

i think dan may have said when this was heating up -with codes being leaked and him getting flak for posting it. that with rsvp you can infact side step the whole 12 month rule for business cards
