Did they change the 2x on grocery bonus? Amex landing page has no mention of it, and the terms say:

I agree. That's misleading. But it isn't true.

If I don't pay the annual fee, i.e. I pay the whole bill minus the annual fee bec I want to only cancel the card right before the 60 day deadline, do I get charged interest??

Anyone come across a 50/2 offer recently? A friend just got two and it doesn't appear to have language. Any way to use them from someone else's name like the biz cards?

sure, got same offers here for biz plat and gold cards for higher bonuses. no language , no restrictions. you can definatly use it for someone else. call and say that your that person which the offer was addressed to. when it comes to stating your LEGAL NAME, tell them the legal name. if questioned, say it had my HEBREW name on the envelope, but for birth certificate and SSN/public records, my legal name is used. done this all the time, works. Interesting point; I had just received a 150k bonus offer. showed pending after 3 weeks of card-membership. first statement was generated about 8 days into new account. so first statement already printed, charges posted, 150k points pending as of 3 weeks of new account being opened. Bill was paid in full but manager couldn't accelerate pending points cause was part of bonus and 2nd statement didn't print yet. he was able to accelerate the 33 points from 1st statement which was for regular spending, and boom! the moment he did the 33, it pushed all pending points along with bonus.

How long do I have to get an annual fee refunded?? 30 or 60 days?? Also have there been reports of them taking back retention bonuses??

60 days from when the annual fee posts

60 days from AF posting for a full refund, after that it's prorated.
