How long does it generally take for the 50k signup bonus to post? I hit the 2k spend 3 weeks ago and had my statement close. Still no bonus points

Mine came in Within the week of spending it, or to be more precise that was around when the statement closed they came in.

if you have other Amex cards for Amex offers and stuff and you can put enough money on your other cards meaning you don't need the credit line (yes I know it's a charge card) why keep it open?

I may be the last one to know this but just to confirm...the Delta GC that I bought for $60 never triggered the Airline fee credit.  I went ahead and bought another one for $50 and got the credit for that in 2 days.
