Are there any cards that a PRG can be converter to that have no fee besides a green card? I have many AU's and don't want to lose them...
On a related note, is there any way to merge two cards so i keep all the AU's?

all charge cards have fee green is the cheapest

Trying to figure out what to do with my MR points.

I have 66,000 points and will earn another 40,000 (should post on 1/7/14) thanks to an upgrade from PRG biz to Plat biz.  I hope to close the plat before 1/31/14 to avoid the annual fee.  I also have a blue for biz that I can use to bank points.

Should I transfer my 66,000 points to BA for the 20% bonus or should I hold my points with the blue for biz account. 

My real question is how hard will it be to get another Green, Gold, or Plat card to use for airline transfers at some later date?

My history/plans with Amex Charge cards:
May 2013 - Opened PRG Biz card
Dec 2013 - Upgraded from PRG Biz to Plat Biz
Jan 2014 - Hope to close the Plat Biz account

you can always downgrade back to gold after points post.
Don't forget the pggm and airline 200 back in 2013&2014 before canceling or downgrading

PUTPAC to downgrade. Just tell them you were on a first year free promo and your should be able to keep for test of the year.

Already did PGGM in 20013 and hope to do it again after 1/1/14.
Is it still possible to get 5k by downgrading from Plat to Green.
If so, how?

i am not ready for any AOR to use as leverage..

What's the point of keeping it open? Don't you want to apply for other MR cards down the line?
