10 Days in Europe
« on: June 12, 2012, 06:07:03 PM »
Hey,

On my way back from Israel in August, I plan on backpacking through Europe for about ten days. I have a flight booked from Paris to JFK (cheapest) so I need to end up in France. I do not currently have a flight from Israel to Europe.

I assume 3 countries is about the limit i should visit.

1) Any advice on the cheapest ticket to Europe from Israel and which countries I should go to?

2) Anyone have advice about Euro-rail passes- 7, 10 day pass?

Is renting a car an option? I got a really cheap rental in Poland especially if you go with another guy it could save a lot of money and let you see many more cities. See here http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=16188.0

I am going with friend. You really think renting a car is cheaper than the train? (don't think I'm gonna head to Poland though

if you also sleep in the car then for sure. You can just fly in and out of Poland. Look at my trip it was 10 days. If it looks amazing to you then you can do it. Or just fly into Italy go around there take a train to France via maybe Switzerland or Spain even England if you want. Just my thoughts with out getting technical.
