BTW there is no 4g wimax on the phone, there is only 4g lte which is being launched in a few cities later in 2012 (nyc is not one of them).

So this is basically a 3g phone for the next year or 2 for most people.

I'm assuming you are talking sprint. Doesn't verizon have LTE pretty much in every major city.

Verizon told me today that the orders will get shipped in the last few days of June. and by first week of July you should have it latest.

i know that overseas (thailand) a friend of mine already bought one - they bought his S2 from him and sold him the S3 for THB 10,000 = $317.
