MFA. Expensive admission, $25 I think. Free after 4pm on Wednesdays.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, free if your name is Isabel, Isabella, etc.
Prudential and Hancock towers. In the pre-9/11 days, it was a thing to go to the top and see the observation deck.  Nothing special, IMO.

The Public Garden, inc. Swan Boats, are only a few T stops or a short Uber ride, even walkable if you have time.  Brookline kosher eateries are about 1.5-2.0 miles away.
thanks for your help. So I guess Brookline will be a stop. As for the museums Art was never really my thing. Even at the prado in Spain I didn't get much of a kick out of it. Any other suggestions? TIA

The DO is July 27? I'll be off from work that day.
Those who are going for Bosox game, without staying overnight, all seem to be going July 27.  There only are 5 days with a daytime game.  Three are on Sundays, so unlikely people got cheap flights, and the other is August 31.
July 27, I presume?  (Same day as mostly everyone else.)
yup. Didn't buy tixx yet but plan to get on stubhub last minute. Does that usually work out well at Fenway? I've never been. In New York I usually do well waiting till game day or a day before.
If not whats the best way to get tixx at Fenway.

Generally good to wait for Fenway/StubHub. Same day. Especially for a day game, not usually difficult to get tix. Of course, with all the New Yorkers coming in....

Right, there's not much right around Fenway. But Boston is a very small city. You can walk from Milk Street (downtown) to Fenway in under an hour easily. If your flight arrives in the mid-morning, you can check out Faneuil Hall and Old South Meeting house, for example, if that's interesting to you, grab food at Milk Street, and walk or T to Fenway easily.

Actually, if your flight gets in around 8am, you have the whole morning. If it were me, I would most definitely go to the USS Constitution. It's in dry dock now, but apparently you can still board. It is an amazing and beautiful ship, and probably even more interesting to see her in dry dock. Check out the photos and web cam. https://ussconstitutionmuseum.org/restoration/constitution-cam/.

I would think you could get there by 9am when they open, spend about 2 hours, walk or Uber to Milk Street, pick up lunch and take it with you to Fenway to eat, or eat in at Milk Street.  Could also tick off Old South Meeting house etc, but IMO, that pales in comparison to Old Ironsides.

There's also ACE Tickets on Brookline Ave, just a block down from the ballpark. ACE is an official RedSox partner, so you know you'll not get counterfeit tix. Can stop in there an hour before the game, or even less, and see what's available.

With half of DDF headed to Boston, how about a Wiki from the locals?

Jumping in and starting one can seem daunting to some. Better chances if you C/P a format from another wiki and then people will start filling in.

I added the minyanim to wiki.

Zow will add all the eateries, and then Dan will rank them.

+2 for mincha at the beginning of the game (mincha gedola appears to be ~1:30). We're on the EWR 7:05 flight so after the game probably won't work for us.

Is there a way to put a table in the wiki. So we can have
restaurant name; location; type of food; hours; website; hashgacha;Dans Ranking; hashgacha ranking

so we are 2 as well. That makes 4.
personally I'd rather daven at the airport but if it won't work then fine.
