As you Mentioned earlier

But That's not your favorite chinese crispy chicken or beef....

Does Boston have any top world dishes
Lol, no.
The General Gao chicken is 10/10, but still not a "top world dish". Get it if you are there, but it alone is not a reason to go.

Lol, no.
After hours of reading
Boston blogs and forums and travel sites
I've come to the conclusion what makes Boston famous is that you don't need the restaurant to even be good!!!

All you have to do is the following
Step 1 stop at a pub
Step 2 get wasted
Step 3 head to your desired restaurant for the best food you'll never remember

Stop at the Sam Adams Brewery first so that you can get drunk for free.

Have been there dozens of times and never ordered! I guess we will need to try head-to-head.

+1 did just that.
Nothing better than free beer at 10 am ;D
Especially their random "research and development" beers.

many of us are in BOS returning on either the 7 or 705 flight to jfk and ewr respectively.  If we can get a minyan together that would be great as idk if we'll make it in time for mincha in ny.

Stop at the Sam Adams Brewery first so that you can get drunk for free.
and just a tip(at least if they take you into that room to drink) sit in the back at the end of the table as they pass out pitchers which end up at the end of the table. Making it a lot easier for this sitting there to get the most beer possible- which can def be a nice amount.
