Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge? was it a nice experience?

@Mount Scopus stayed there IIRC.

The hotel was fine. Nothing spectacular.

The atrium had a very "80's" feel about it; with the exposed brick and "space capsule" elevators with gold trimmings. The first first room I was assigned had strong lingering smell of cigarettes and there were hairs in the shower. I was then given another room, which was clean. The bed was comfortable and the view, non-existent. I was only there for one night, so didn't mind. Over all, it was an ok place to stay.

There's a relatively new AC Marriott hotel in Cleveland Circle around the corner from chai Odom and just a short walk from the Bais pinchas. Probably the closest point options to shuls. That and the courtyard Marriott in Brookline

Quick report from Milk Street Cafe.
Soups were delicious.  Split pea was non dairy.  The corn chowder was very dairy (could taste the cream).
DW said the eggplant in the panini tasted like it was previously frozen (not bad, just noticeable) — I didn’t appreciate anything unusual.
Reasonably filling lunch meal for two for under $20. (Not stuffed, but not hungry either.)

On ciabbata, with avacado, Chipotle sauce, crispy onions and  Cole slaw-used to be the hot pastami but they pulled it off the menu, so now is the pulled beef

Wanted to stay milchig in case of afternoon indiscretion. But what you describe sounds superb — for next time.

Spending a day at Hynes Convention Center.
Landing around 8AM, is there anywhere I can catch a Minyan shacris?
Any recommendations for breakfast/lunch and possibly a quick dinner before my flight out? Am i better off renting a car or just using uber?
TIA

No shachris you'd make.

Pack breakfast. Take Uber to milk st cafe for lunch, and also take a dinner to go (they close at 3).

Don't rent a car

Just went through boston airport.  The hudson news center no longer sells all the kosher salad and sandwiches from Herris gourmet.  My daughter spoke to cashier who said they no longer sell it.

Seems like milk street café does not have a hashgacha? Anything downtown with a hashgacha?

Where did you get that information? See their website for hashgacha information.

Whoops I stand corrected.
Milk Street Cafe is supervised by the Orthodox Rabbinical Council of Greater Boston, Rabbi Nochum Cywiak. Please also see 'Kosher Questions' below. For additional information or questions, please contact Rabbi Cywiak or us at 617-542-3663.
I know KVH is generally an accepted hashgacha, what about this one? Is it recognized as valid by the large kashrus organizations such as OU,CRC, OK, etc...

You quite a lot more than stand corrected. You just slandered a business owner, and everyone on this board and everywhere that eats there.

I personally don't know that you buy kosher meat, and I didn't find it immediately by googling, so what if I post that it seems @tzifanya54 doesn't eat kosher meat.

Take it down a notch. Yes it was an honest mistake, as their website mentions having 3 kosher kitchens but does not state that it is under a hashgacha. Only place that it’s mentioned was in the FAQ. I wrote that “it seems” loosely translated as:I don’t know but that was my initial impression, and please correct me if I’m wrong. As soon as I saw the correction I posted that I was wrong, and asked about the validity of said hechsher.

However if it will make your Thursday to post that Tzifanya54 doesn’t eat kosher meat, by all means go ahead and post.
