I assume this is the best place to post this. Has anyone been to the Thomas place called edaville usa? Thoughts? I'm thinking of taking a 3 day trip with little kids and going there. I have free Marriott nights so i am looking at staying in Brockton MA. Anyone know what kind of area that is? Any suggestions of things to do around there? Or suggestions of different  area to stay and do stuff near there?
Thanks!

One of the partners in my group told me about it and said its really good.  I've been planning to go, but haven't made it there yet. Maybe next week.

or, if you are coming after early June, there will be the  Homewood Suites
Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston/Brookline, right on Route 9, only 1.2mi from YI Brookline.
FYI this new hotel is really nice but an expensive point redemption option (70K per night for 1 king studio). Was able to get upgraded to 1 king bedroom.

Swimming pool is really small - probably more appropriate to call it a big bathtub (or a mikvah) ;)

Yep
Was just there with the entire family, they just opened and were only 20% occupancy so they upgraded us to 2 bedroom suite.
Very close to shuls

thanks!

What about the stop and shop on harvard st? Anything there?
I also seem to remember one of the stop and shops having a pas yisroel bakery, does that still exist?
So I finally solved the mystery of why I was unable to find this stop & shop the last time or two I was in Boston.

The Stop & Shop I've been looking for is...

The star market on commonwealth ave

Whats pshat

I meant that the YI rabbi is fairly young and has been here for only a couple years.  And I'm confident every single person from YI eats there.

Any ideas of any really beautiful hotels within 15/20 minutes of the jewish community (shuls, food). I am looking for something away from it all with grounds and not a hyatt in the center of downtown.
