ask for the esn in advance of the meeting.Check to make sure it's clean.then at the meeting make sure he gave you the right esn.

What if I do the verizon transfer on the spot while I'm there then should I still ask for the esn #?

Update : I found a brand new s3 bludgeon Craigslist for $340 . Went to meet the guy at 2am in L.A. !

The Maxx had too much lag time and felt junkier. Amongst other things as well
