S3 has a removable battery which makes it the easy winner for that reason alone IMHO.

Except for the fact that you can go all day and then some without having to charge your phone I don't think the Razr Maxx has anything on the Galaxy S3.
And the s3 battery should be just fine for the average user to last them through the day.

Personally between those two I'd go with the Galaxy S3.

ive been using the razr maxx for the past few days and with all the battery talk - towards the end of the day my battery is orange and i use the phone a lot (not much talking though) so it lasts a nice 10 hours but i charge it then when its orange.
i dont know what would be if i had another phone, i'd prob have to carry a spare battery around with me all day...

If you make a survey I am fairly confident the S3 will win about 100 to  1

Like I said there's nothing like carrying a spare battery or 2...I don't believe in these built-in shenanigans that Apple started.  Having a spare has been crucial in BOS the past couple days.

And that's besides the fact that your built-in is at it's peak now, have fun in 9 months when it's only holding 75% of what it gives you today.  I'll have been cycling through a couple extra $19 batteries and they'll remain fresh through at least 2 years that way.

The problem with replacement batteries is that they need to be recharged in the phone unless you have a cradle, and they lose the charge unless you actually switch batteries often. This can be bothersome.

The cradle that can charge 2 batteries at once costs a whole $6.

Any guesstimate how long it will take for Amazon Wireless to carry the S3 from Verizon? It's $199 on Verizon site, but Amazon is always less. They are only carrying AT&T's version at this time.

ok after much debate and back and forth decisions im gonna prob switch my phone - razr maxx -  and here are the options i have:

1. Gnex - Pros: will cost me about $115 + any spare battery i get  Cons: i have to do it through Amazon (granted it works - i will try to call again) and im stuck with there policies for 6 months

2. S3 - Pre-order it and get it about beginning of July (which isnt a problem cuz ill be out of country for summer) and pay an extra $35 (after the 200 i paid for mazz) + any spare battery i want. and i do it with verizon store.
