Dina de-malchuta Dina, It's a loaded question it's not so simple (diplomatically speaking). There is a professor by the name of Shiloh who lives on rechov hapalmach in yerushalyim who wrote for his thesis a whole sefer/book on this subject. I suggest you go through some of the sources of the gedolei hoachronim who hold there is no Dina de-malchuta Dina under the rule of Kofrim in eretz yisrael. (minhag hamedina is something else, which is applicable).

I don't know. I've met quite a number of "Israelis" whose parents are American, who've lived their whole lives in Israel without citizenship. Who've been working with a "borrowed" Teudat Zehut number etc etc.

         Somehow to hear stories like that gives me a sick feeling. In my mind there is something so off about that. All in the name of frumkeit. They want to take from the country without giving back.
And yes there are many problems with the Medina. But that's not an excuse.

i'm not familiar with the halachic ramifications of the issue.    but, if it's stealing it's obviously a problem, irrelevant of any particular government.  if it's halachically fine, then it's fine, also irrelevant of the particular government.          either way, i'm not sure how that makes a difference as to whether or not a person should feel any religious inclination to be a part of the israeli state.
