Hmm, "Israeli's are mamzerim", how else to take it? I'm Israeli. Was I just called a mamzer? And out of curiosity, how does this shtimm with every piece of mussar ever taught about how to relate to other Jews? Or is mussar only meant to teach us how to relate to the bachur sitting next to us in beis medrash?
And anyhow, does he intend that in an halachik sense? After all, the term mamzer has halachik connotations. If he didn't, he should be more careful with his words and find a different insult to call e/o holding Israeli citizenship.
Either way, at least we all have ACHDUS after that great asifa. Although I guess if rabbanim there would tell us to not accept kids into schools if their parents have internet, nor to make shidduchim with them, then this whole thread isn't too much more extreme. It's a simple extension of the mentality.
