Seems like this card is now under 5/24 I got denied for too many cards in the past 2 years.

Too many cards is not necessarily 5/24.

That would both make sense and suck. The blogs and forums were shoving this in Chase's face. I know of approvals on Monday.

Except... I may be going out on a limb here: Chase hasn't made the decision of 5/24 for certain cards and not others without consultation and/or permission from the co-brand partner. So there's a specific reason why on cards like Ritz, Hyatt, IHG, British, etc, the partner and chase made the decision to keep the standard approval/denial to not include 5/24.

My point is, since Monday, it seems unlikely that Ritz/Chase could have agreed to apply 5/24 in two-three days.

it could be with the influx of calls from CSR. The reps are well versed in 5/24 and using it on all cards.

The letters will tell - they indicate a difference in language with too many recent accounts or 5/24.

anyone received the new infinite version from your previous signature card? I got an email 10 days ago saying the benefit is upgraded to the infinite version but didn't receive new card in mail.

Got accepted for this card after reconsideration call for 10k credit limit, for the reserve they wouldn't reconsider at all, seems like closed case.

Wife got the reserve and i have the Ritz for sometime, which card is better for us regarding the lounge benefit? We travel with our child.

i got a jetblue refundable ticket, and got the $300 credit from chase, and refunded the ticket, and chase took it back.
is this a new occurrence?
what are the other options to get the travel credit?
