JetBlue seat upgrades and delta seat upgrades worked for me.
Airline GC are very YMMV as there are reports of chase asking for receipts.

Now that I found out I can't buy AA gift cards BEC I'm fron NJ. What's my next best option regarding gift cards? I have no personal preference since I'm not going to use them so regarding selling.

Booked flights on Jet Blue and book seat upgrades totaling $315 as well. Called and ask them to credit me the $300 for incidental charges. She said she would have to wait until the charge went out of pending status and properly posted. She asked how much the incidentals were for and advised $315. She said that Jet Blue doesn't breakdown the incidentals from the airfare but that she would make a notation on my record and personally make sure the credit is issued once the charge posted. Will keep you posted.....

Are you going to cxl the reservation before the 24 hour period? or did you not really charge the incidentals on the reservation?

Bad news for SW gc.... They caught up!

I was just told (both times of HUCA) that my $75 charges were for gift cards! It worked fine till last night and I got my first $75 reimbursed but seems like they've had a system update today.
They said the gc transactions starts with 5260xxxxxxx on the account and that Chase has been having some confusions since the past few days. Now the SW charges clearly show as gc.

Already out of time for 2014 for any other experiments ... oh well!
