I had it way before that. As soon as I recieved the card IIRC.

I definitely recall my Marriott upgrade to a Suite when I had just gotten the card.

the other day i got my new citi double cash card, i had trouble linking it to my other account online. called and asked for manager , I demanded retention bonus or i will cancel. got $50 lol
retention bonus on same day of card arrival. Now that is a history. i got 10k or 2 5k avios added to my BA visa account when I activated it that was year ago.

From your tone, it sounds like you ask for it quite forcefully. Is that what you do, or am I misreading?

do you get the lounge pass with the card? I have international travel in 2 weeks. free lounge access at any lounge club around the world for just the card holder or or 2 people? infant under 2 allowed free?
