Update: 6/16/15:
So I smed chase again and got the same response, denying to match to 140k. I then called Chase and got a very nice rep who tried to match it for me but was unsuccessful. It said in her system that they were only matching to 140k credit cards that were applied before April 30th. I applied May 14th. She then gave me 5k Ritz points as a courtesy and told me to try to call Ritz Rewards and ask them to replace my 2 free nights with the equivalent amount of points (probably not 140k). I did just that and the Ritz rep said she cannot do that. Blah blah.....

JetBlue seat upgrades and delta seat upgrades worked for me.
Airline GC are very YMMV as there are reports of chase asking for receipts.

Sorry to drive everyone crazy, but I just want to make sure I did it correctly before I called in (as I mentioned before, I had tried this with the gift cards and it never ended up working.)

I booked 2 refundable tickets on jetblue for $3400, and chose the seat upgrade options that were available for me, all within the same booking. I had a total of $310 of upgrades. Is that the right thing to do? Or did the upgrade have to be a separate charge? Not sure I understand how I'll get a refund that I'll be able to keep if I end up cancelling the entire charge.

U did it perfectly it doesn't have to be 2 separate cards. Though alot of people as a precaution use 2 cards but there is no need.

Now before i close this card, can anyone "confirm" that the Lounge Club pass will work until expiration date even the CC is closed?

Just got off the phone and was told that my credit will be applied within 1-2 billing cycles, and that he already notated my account. Do i have to wait for it to post before I cancel the tickets? I really don't want to have $3400 worth of charges on my card for much longer. Thanks!

Marriott is starting to enforce an expiration date which iinm is 24 months from your last activity.

Just Purchased a Refundable Jet Blue Ticket.

1) Is it really 100% Refundable?

2) Will the Charge of the seat show (after the pending charge goes away) seperetly of the Ticket purchase?

3) Is there a way of Upgrading AFTER i already bought the ticket? 

4) If i cancel right away will i be able to get the credit (PGGM style)?
