I am in a suite ( to gold statu) in a Brad new beautiful Courtyard hotel in China now, value for $200 a night for 7500 points.

Do the night certificates (which I'll convert to 140k) points generally post soon after the first statement? I'd really like to use them for my upcoming travel in the next month... Hopefully converting the certs to points won't take more than a few days - I was already approved for the match, but I was told to contact them again after the certs posted.

Anyone find a five day delay between approval and card showing up so that it can be expedited ? I had mine approved last Monday , chase can't find it till today to ship to Europe . PITA

in my experience all co branded chase cards take about that long to show up

Same here. It takes a few days of processing, to even show up in the system.

Nights will post at statement close after meeting spend. Matching to 140k, can sometimes take another cycle. 1 out of 2 for me.

Thanks Toasted. I didn't quite understand your last sentence though: "1 out of 2 for me". Did getting the 140k points take another statement on one occasion, but only a few days for another?

I actually just checked my secure messages again. The CSR actually told me to reply to them once I had met the spend, not once the certificate posted. Maybe they'll be able to make the change before my first statement closes so I can get the 140k right after my first statement ends. Perhaps this is just wishful thinking.

if I have 140k in my account & my wife has 140k in her account how do I go about combining our accounts to get 280k? I know it was mentioned somewhere upthread but cant find it now......

Anyone have any experience with moving the credit limit to other cards and lowering CL on this to <$1579 to waive annual fee (as its illegal to have annual fee more than 25% of CL)?

nights post within a couple days of meeting spend. not related to when the statement date is.

PUTPAC. She might have to sign an affidavit and fax back to them .
