Update: 6/16/15:
So I smed chase again and got the same response, denying to match to 140k. I then called Chase and got a very nice rep who tried to match it for me but was unsuccessful. It said in her system that they were only matching to 140k credit cards that were applied before April 30th. I applied May 14th. She then gave me 5k Ritz points as a courtesy and told me to try to call Ritz Rewards and ask them to replace my 2 free nights with the equivalent amount of points (probably not 140k). I did just that and the Ritz rep said she cannot do that. Blah blah.....
This really sucks <img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/tapatalk-emoji/emoji35.png" />

Update: 3/23/15: Many recent reports of successful match to 140k offer via SM
Updated link: https://creditcards.chase.com/credit-cards/ritz-carlton-card.aspx
Standard offer is for 2 free nights at Ritz Cat 1-4 which is not too bad either.

Update 2/9/15: DEAD
current offer  140k bonus points +$300 airline credit annual fee 395 not waived
link https://www.theritzcarltonrewardscard.com/offer140k

To get $300 airline credit call 1-855-896-2222
don't buy gift cards from Chase affiliated airlines (United, SW..)
As Chase may be able to see what you purchased

JetBlue seat upgrades and delta seat upgrades worked for me.
Airline GC are very YMMV as there are reports of chase asking for receipts.
(Seat upgrades are officially covered in the T & C.)

Is this how it works: book a refundable jet blue ticket (blue flex?), after booking, upgrade the seat. make sure upgrade is more than $300. Then wait for it post, ask for $300 credit, finally cancel.
If that is how it work, could anyone have a pair of city which will cost more than $300 to upgrade for seat? Thanks!

I think i made the same mistake i made once before..
I booked a Blue Flex, without realizing its non-refundable.
Now when i try to cancel its sending the flight money to travel bank...

Guess ill try calling them.

They really gotta rename their fares.

The flight is clearly labeled "refundable" and "non-refundable".

How do so many people seem to manage to screw this up? I guess I only hear when it goes wrong.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Once there's six options, anything gets a bit confusing :-)

The reason people get confused is because jet blue tries to market the non refundable blue flex fare, as a refundable ticket. Even though in reality it isn't so.

I reckon its time to change the title of this thread already to the "Ritz Carlton CC mater thread" or something like that as opposed to a specific old offer that doesn't exist anymore

Tears worked again for JetBlue..
Really annoying the way they label their fares.
Also, SMing didn't work for pet fees, ($100) but over the phone they did it..

The card alone gets you lounge club accesses?
