It should show as 15 years old
So it's only Amex that shows the price as new?

I cant answer with 100% certainty about discover but I was added to my dads 15 year old chase card and my credit shows as having the card since 2001

This was a personal platinum, and didn't have the option.

I ended up calling, and the rep wasn't able to go down to a green, (DROPR?) but in this case was able to do a platinum without paying extra.
DROPR - You will be charged for the platinum au.

Well there you have it. As of a year ago Amex was still backdate great new cards to original Account opening date. Next time, please specify your experience is very old and possibly out of date.

I didn't realize Chase changed it as well. I thought it was only Amex.

DROPR - You will be charged for the platinum au.

In this case there are two cards, so AU fee was already paid for first 3 AU cards. I just didn't know about the existing AU.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Call the CB.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.
