Hello all --

I'm looking to be added as an AU for someone's Amex Personal Platinum. I just want the card for lounge access. I of course would not do any spending. Looking to pay $90-$110 annually.

I understand this requires massive trust (not sure if there's a way to set spending limit on AU at or close to zero). I have friends on the forum who can vouch for me and my (albeit small) record here is immaculate.

Often you will have to call the  company that declined you and tell them it is an au and they will remove it from the calculation.

OK that's not a huge deal i guess. its really only chase thatll be an issue prob. and right now im like 7/24.

Can't you ask for another card without providing a SS#, so its not reported on your CR?

with amex you can but they only give you a certain amount of time before they close that card out.

You can do this by adding something other than an SSN too, just ask the rep for the options (including drivers license). They just need some sort of number to connect the user.
