when u dispute with experian they give u a bunch of reasons to select from either pick a different reason than b4 or even the same reason but add something dumb in the comments like "the creditors response was not satisfactory". as long as u add something they have 2 resubmit to the bank for proof and u increase chances that the bank wont answer.

I wanna add someone to my account with no credit to build up his credit, I can add him or to my capital one or to a Barclay, both require SSN with DOB (thats a sign that it will go on his credit, right?

With which should I go or its both the same god to build up his credit

the older the better. Also make sure the credit to debt ratio is good. Otherwise it will hurt his credit.

The older the account is, the better it is for the score of the person you added. In addition, the lower your credit utilization is, the better it is for your score.

If your Cap1 card is 1 year old, has a $10,000 credit limit, and the statement usually closes with a $6,000 balance, when you add that person, his report will show one year of history with 60% utilization.

If your Barclay card is 5 years old, has a $12,000 credit limit, and the statements usually close with a $100 balance; when you add him to that card, his report will show 5 years history and 1% utilization.

Scenario 2 is much better for his credit score, because it shows an older Age of Accounts, and lower utilization.

I posted part of this question in credit score thread but it seems this is a better place...

Are banks quicker than the credit agencies at removing AU accounts from my report? Is the consensus that I need to cancel the AU's 1st?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

My understanding is that it'll take up to 30 days for the AU to be removed from your report, so you'd want to do that first.

If you don't cancel the AU and the bureau removes it, it can reappear. Attack the report from both ends, if the bank agrees to remove from the report great and at the same time dispute with the bureau's directly.

Going to do that tomorrow. Want to go from both ends.
Have relative that applied for Sapphire card as his first Credit card, and got declined bec. of 5/24 when all 6 of his cards are all au's.
Mind you, that about 6 months ago when he applied for a chase card they denied him bec. lack of credit history, and told him to become an au to build it.
