Which cards have you been added as an AU on that have been backdated on your credit report to the age of the card? Does every card work that way? Seemed to me only certain cards worked for this based on my understanding of Dan at the seminar. Thanks for your help.

1) A bit late to the party here, but what did people do for Amex's SBS to get ~10 AUs (or something like that)?

If you just wanted to add cards for that purpose, what was the process?

2) I've been told Amex asks for SSN for AU, Chase personal does not.  Does Chase business require?

Thanks!

You're sending me on a scavenger hunt across DDF!

So that forum answers question 1 about Amex AUs, what about question 2 about Chase business?

Thanks!

They are just asking you for it but you don't have to give it, you could say that you don't have it handy.

I'm thinking of adding a friend of mine as an "Authorizrd User" on Amex SPG card to build his credit a bit.

His credit is bed with 2 collections that were recently settled (in process of deleting the negatives)
If I enter his social security number is there any chance Amex won't approve him as an Authorized User?

Does Amex ever deny Authorized Users?

P.S. he never had an account with Amex so he didn't mess up with them.

The answer is yes, sometimes they do.

But as long as his history is clear with AmEx they'll likely approve it.

This has been discussed somewhere here... I believe you can get an AU card and say you do not have the SSN in front of you and will call back. You then just don't call back and disregard any mail they may send about it. Someone please CMIIW.

No.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

No.
So what are the chances of me being approved for SPG personal & biz via 2bm? ( I have 12 mo. of credit history, good credit-paying on time, low utilization etc.- & 4 CCs (Capitol One, Discover, BR Visa, Barclays). Last time I applied was 6 mo. ago 4 Barclays).

A better question would be " Are there any cards that don't report AU's?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half
