I don't know if that comes up when they enter it into the gov't system.  I thought they only get back confirmation that it's a legit #.
So, as YG says, try it.  and let us know.

Just successfully added 8 AU's on a Delta Biz card over the phone. Did not need to provide either DOB or SS. (Said I didn't have that info with me).

The rep did however say that I would need to provide that info when activating those cards. We'll see what happens...

Called regular CS?

I called CS about my SPG and the guy told me he can't even process the request without DOB.

Time for more HUCA I guess...

UPDATE: HUCA failed. (I was at least my 6th try). Same response SSN is negotiable for later, DOB is not.

This may have been written before but I can't go through so many pages- I just ordered a SPG AMEX card that needs $5,000 spent within a time frame to get miles.

1. Can an authorized user help me spend?
2. If I add an AU and then that person wants to get this same offer, will they not qualify?

I mistakenly added an AU to my card twice both with the same SSN. Now the same person has 2 AU cards on my account with different card numbers. Do you think this is a possible F/R trigger?

I have the same person with multiple AU cards under the same account (e.g. John smith with 3 cards under my SPG biz, all with the same valid ssn). no issues when I signed up or activated them.
