What is the expiration dates everyone is getting for new amex cards added this month?
If everyone is getting the same date then it would make it a lot easier to use before actually receiving the card.
Amex cards usually expire exactly 4 years from date opened, so the cards added this month should expire 11/18

i was just added yesterday as an AU to my mom's CC in hopes of improving my 'limited credit history' which has been preventing me from getting good cards like chase SP.  how long will it take until it shows up on my credit report that i'm an AU?  i'm sure this question has been asked before but i'm not finding it anywhere on the forums, so a quick answer would be nice, thanks!

There is a discussion about adding AU's to build their credit, so I figured I'd post this here.
I added a friend onto an Amex personal card of mine to build up his credit (he has no previous credit). After 6 months of doing everything properly (low utilization ect), he applied for a Chase Freedom yesterday and was denied, recon said that they see he is only an AU on a card and will not budge.

Bummer.  Tell him to open a low end Capital1.  There's one with a $19AF waived for first year.

Wonder if he was an additional user on someone elses freedom card if that would have helped more, maybe chase doesn't look much at Amex.

Officially they don't consider AU at all because the AU is not the party primarily responsible for paying the bill. Been told that many times during recon back in the day, and it has been documented here on DDF a a couple of years back, that this is the one thing that HUCA can't usually help with with chase.
I did however get very lucky b"H and after many HUCAs I decided I'd try one more final time and I happened to get lucky with a helpful new-sounding young lady who did approve my wife based on her history as an AU on my card, of course after I assured her that's wife also shares the responsibility of paying the bill on my account (I was in Kollel after all).

Either one. Many reports of phone working no problem. Used for expediting. Also, I haven't seen a single report of phone being a problem

So one thing I am not fully able to weigh :

Especially in regards to AMEX where a big goal is to plan the year around SBS to make sure to have enough AU's to really get a big chunk out of SBS.  Dan himself writes:

"-Adding too many additional users.
This is a known trigger for an American Express financial review."

Now, I know that "what is too many" is the big question but even if u have no more then 10 per card (many many have much more :)) I assume that in regards to this AMEX looks at the entire accoutn activity. And if I have 6 cards with 10 each wont 60 AUs be more then enough to trigger a F/R?

Just trying to see how ppl with 100-200 AUs deal with this. What experience they have had with this and if it actually had a bad affect. (close account etc).

Thanks
