i think history will still rank him in the top 5 of all time esp if he wins more championships
he already has 3 mvps and now a championship and a finals mvp
Being ranked in the top five and challenging MJ for the greatest title is a big jump. I don’t see him getting much better.

Although Lebron will never be the scorer than MJ was, his defense and overall ability to control the game are better

I will give you the defense part but control the game, please. One of the biggest knock on him is that in some games he is MIA. Never heard that said of MJ.

I think you're confused; the Michael Jordan I know of won First Team All-Defensive Team NINE times, as well as being the Best Defensive Player during the 1988 season.

As good as MJ was I would rank Pippen as the better defensive player. When the Bulls needed to stop someone Pippen got the call.

Your vote would be contrary to the large majority of NBA coaches during those nine years :P

EDIT: Apparently Scottie won first team 8 times :P

Lebron's ability to defend anywhere from the 1 to the 5 makes him more valuable.

What are you smoking? :) All you have to do to take the ball out of Lebron’s hands is double team him. A double team could never stop MJ, hell not even a triple team.
Perhaps that is correct, BUT it was easier to get Jordan double teamed than it is Letron as he is too big, too quick, too strong.
He will NEVER be as great as Jordan just for the simple fact that say Jordan was a 50 the closest player at the time was a max 45. He was far better than anyone else at everything.
Letron might very well be a 50 also BUT there are many players that are VERY close to that as well.
In my opinion one of the greatest things ant Jordan was the huge diff bet him and the next best player. Back then there was no machlokes as to who was the best player at the time................
