Laser jammer can be installed but they are much more expensive

IIRC from my research over a year ago it was something like $800 for the cheaper ones

Looking for something worth my money to be able to use that actually works.
Willing to spend $200-$400 or more if needed.

Being now that the summer is coming going to commute quite often from New York to the Catskills ,New York to New Jersey, willing just spend a few hundred dollars to get a decent one, just not sure which one to get.
Whether the redline RX, MAX360 or the C model?

Is there anyone here that actually has one of the later ones  worth a few hundred dollars that has experience with them if it actually works or which ones work and which ones don't work?

I have a valentine 1
The unique feature about the valentine is that it tells you in what direction the radar is coming from and how many bands it's picking up, which is useful when there's more than 1 cop on the roads

Its not worth it to get a cheap detector bc if it doesn't work as good as the better ones you'll get caught and waste your money

I've had mine for 2 years and it saved me a few times from a cop

Sounds like a nice piece.
Agree 100% if your already spending money don't waste $200 when you spend double that or triple and buy one that actually works.

If you have a minute can you post a link of the one your referring to? Thanks

right on the v1,however their patent expired so now others can and have copied them. IMHO there is no point in a radar detector without the arrows. Also a big thing with the v1 is that you can pay $150/$200 every big update (outside and housing stays the same) and essentially get the whole thing upgraded. Other brands you need a new one every 3-5 years.
