Applied for 2 CCs in one day so second got placed on a 5 day hold and I just let it sit. Yesterday was Day 5 so checked the status last night and it says approved, but I never got those standard "You've been Approved" emails. Normal?

Has anybody ever had an authorized user listed as co owner on an AMEX card?
Looking at Experian report only shows Authorized user.
But when trying to apply for Chase Sapphire am told I am CO Owner not just authorized user.
Amex says they dont report it that way...what is Chase looking at?

Rep is mistaken. Amex doesn't do joint accounts. HUCA.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I didn't realize that with the 5 day hold there is another pull, so it is as if they are just processing the application 5 days later? does that mean I wont get the 75k bonus offer?

Bonus goes according to when you applied, not when you're approved.

I already have a personal plat, but I got an offer in the mail, so I applied for another one. First it said that it was "canceled" because I have that card. So I called and asked for recon. Now the status changed to "in progress". Here's my question: I wanted to apply for a few other cards in the same credit pull. Should I go ahead and do that now, or is there some reason to hold off. In other words, do the other apps make it less likely to be approved for the plat (which is the main card I'm interested in)? Thanks.

Yes.
So recon un-cancelled it and sent it for what they said is a manual review. Now wait or call recon again?

I think we're in the exact same position. I called again, and they said that there's nothing to do but wait... I don't think HUCA or DROPR applies here...
