Probably it was not the Costco True Savings but the Green business card, I had both transferred to CITI , I asked if I can keep the business green with Amex and they said it was a Costco card !!

It was the green business card, but it was earning MR

Why not apply for a bunch, and you'll get whatever is approved?

Then you should be fine opening 4 more. If they give you a problem about having too many open then close it with recon. Reports have been that they're letting 5 now though.

I applied for 2 business cards at the same time, the delta and SPG.

I got right away approved for the Delta but for the SPG it shows in process, i called up up and the rep told me that they only approve 1 card every 5 days and in five days they will process the SPG.

Is this thru? is there anything I can do they should pull a second time and still get approved?

Delta and SPG are both credit cards and Amex will only approve one per day. If you call, they'll re-open the second application (you can check the status online), usually it gets processed the next day (with another hard pull). This is a manual process, so sometimes it takes a few days. If you already received 2 Amex credit cards in the past 90 days, you'll have to wait until you are outside that window.

I HUCAed a few times with them but they seem pretty strict about this 5 card rule.
