OK, never had any AMEX, jut chase - freedom, SP, IB, IP.

Did an AMEX 4BM last week - SPG personal and business, Gold Business OPEN, and blue cash preferred.

So far, the first 3 are approved, when I called about the Blue, she said she has to look into it and she'll call me back last night.

Should have called earlier...she never called me back, so i called again, another woman (both were based in India) told me that when there are multiple apps, they have to wait 5 days between each approval (10 days after application, 3 were approved - once instant, and one each 5 days after that).

Any truth to this? Also, that probably means 4 different hard pulls?

Also, she said that while she could have a manager call me back (she said he'd call within a half-hour, he never called either), there was no way for me to speak to anyone in America.

Any truth to that, either?

Any recommendations (aside from/in addition to the standard HUCA that I'll be doing anyway)?

My exp w amex is when they say their supervisor will call back and they took my number, they don't always do so. I complained about it to CS and was compensated for the lack of courtesy.

Also, part of my inquiry was to ask if anyone on DDF had successfully appealed a negative decision specifically related to the SPG Business CC. I couldn't find anything in my search.
This time I'll answer you: yes, I was denied for SPG biz, I called in to appeal, they forwarded to the "concerned(?) department" and was approved two weeks later.

But this was just a good will reply.
If you continue acting in a disrespectful manner towards any of our senior DDF members, you can forget getting any help here. Okay??
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

LOL. Any serious suggestions? Does this happen often? How long do I have to appeal their denial of my application?

Was anyone recently able to move a line of credit in order to get approved for a card?.
I tried yesterday but they would not do it, neither do they want to pull my EQ or TU (NY). I was denied because of a experian credit freeze.

YMMV means it's possible. With AMEX they have a limit of four credit products, and that limit spans business and personal, as well as across multiple business entities. So there is an aspect of being able to close a business product to enable a personal product.

I don't have specific info about whether that applies to a credit line that was at its maximum.

I'd imagine that they have a limit for personal, a limit for business, and an overall limit that they are willing to extend to you. If the right combination of those limits is in play, shifting CL could work.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Got approved for the simply cash business card which offers 6, 9, or 12 months 0% Apr, depending on creditworthiness. I only got 9 months. Can I call recon to get better terms?

Did double app today and got pending further review on one, and wait 24 hours on the other. I called recon and they approved the pending one, and shifted the other app's status from wait 24 hours to pending review. Rep told me they already pulled my CR and the application is complete, just needs to go to some other dept for final something or other but that they can't do anything more than that.

Anyone else gotten that before?
