I vaguely recall there being an online option to increase credit limit that involves no csr and is instant decision.

I just requested a 2k increase online and got :

Your request for a line of credit increase has been submitted.
You will receive a written response within 7-10 days

One would think. Unless for the Plat they ALSO looked at the old report and somehow approved me anyway!? I don't really get what's going on. Called back today and they said the app is still being reviewed by the under-writing team.

What happened to AMEX recon?? What's this all of a sudden with the under-writing team??

Got an email just now saying I'm approved for the BGR! Well that took an awfully long time (and a few calls bothering them to hurry up the decision - including one yesterday) and I don't know yet whether it was a second pull, but hey, I'll take the approval! Now to see if I end up getting the bonus on both the Biz Plat and BGR. Will check my CRs in a day or 2 to see how many pulls everything was.

I did a 2 BM for the SPG and Everyday Preferred last week. I got instantly approved for the Everyday Preferred but the SPG was on hold for 5 days since the applications were put in at the same time. Just got an email saying the application was reviewed and I was denied since it's my third application within 90 days. I also had a Delta card application on 9/8/2014. The phone rep told me to call back after 12/8/2014 to have my application reviewed again.

Anyone else seen this before?

What if the name is Simcha ? 
They're gonna have to drop the whole name thing. Anyone could take any name they want, & nowadays people have surgery to change the voice to the other side of the aisle.
