I just find it ironic that Apple would be discriminating against their majority clientele

No one is discriminating against anyone. It's the same with car insurance. It's pure stats.
I'm not who you think I am.

Who said that Apple did a better or worse job than anyone else?

I'd bet you chase has a similar stat against women in their algorithm.

Any thoughts on why they actually gave her a lower credit limit? Reading her post, it sounds like she has assets, but limited income?

Who knows. It's utterly ridiculous to say that she should get a higher CL just because she has a "higher CS." We don't know where they got their scores from, what scoring model Goldman Sachs is actually using, how Goldman Sachs ranks different factors in importance when making a credit decision, the other information she put on her application, and a myriad of other things that could have made her get a different credit line than her husband. Even if gender had nothing to do with the decision, one can easily get a lower CL from a bank than someone else even that person has a lower "CS" than the other. It's just pure ignorance to think that the reason for the difference in CL is gender simply because it's the only discernible difference to you.
