Keep checking your account. Even if it is in closed status your points might post and be available for redemption.

@HelpMe you were right. 87k+ points posted to my account with the new bill.

Chase said they considered it as if I closed the account for the credit bureau agencies.

But again...was that all your Chase cards closed or just one card(Freedom)?

Chase only closed his Freedom, so he was able to transfer them to another card.
Actually quite fair of them for a change.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Just successfully made about 70 15c Amazon GC transaction (needed to buy a $10 item decided to see how much of a pain in the neck it would be) and had no issues with Chase

Search FWF and you will see this was done on a large scale. All accounts were shut down.

"Let me inform you that the reason your account was closed
was because it was not used as intended. The transactions
on your account were not consistent with expected activity
on the credit card account. It was closed as per our
rights under the termination section of the card member
agreement."

This is the basic response I've gotten from every department I spoke with. I have yet to see a 'termination' section in any of their Cardmember Agreements which they sent me or had in the bank and have an ongoing conversation with them through their secure message center.

After reading the whole topic, Chase only closed your Freedom account, and your other Chase cards still open. After that, will you get blacklist by Chase? Will you able to apply a new card from Chase?
