Have an upcoming Layover in MUC. The kosher restaurant in closed for "winter vacation" (not kidding... Their words) and dachau is closed that day... Anyone have any other suggestions where to take my 4 hour Porsche aside from the autobahn?

Have a choice of a short stopover in Mun or a long stopover, any Itinerary for a 11 hour stopover? Prefer some Shoa and some not.
And more to do in Mun or Fra?

(The Munich thread is practically dead so posted here)

Looking for recommendations for a 10 hour daytime stopover in Munich. Any Kosher Food? Minyanim? Anything worthwhile to see there?

Also, am I better off just getting an airport hotel to relax for the day? Recommendations for an airport hotel?

There are tons of things to do
BMW Welt (BMW World) if you like cars
Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymphenburg Palace)
Residenz Royal Palace
Deutsches Museum - science / technology
or go for a walking tour

He about a 12 hour layover from mom evening to Tuesday morning in Frankfurt in August. Cod come in earlier in day if worthwhile.
Whats the food situation? So bars website says they are closed Mondays (kind of random?). Anything else?
Anything worthwhile to do if I get in at say 4 or noon?

I'm going to be in Stuttgart in a month from now for 2-3 days, and I am looking for things to do while I'm there. I will have a car, so a 2-3 hour drive should be doable.

Thank you

Is Cologne worth a day trip? I would be interested in seeing the Jewish history in the area.

Cologne = Köln    During the second Beis Hamikdash, the jews were already living in Cologne.  There's a tradition that they did not want to depart from their Homeland.
Check the mikva, I think it's one of the oldest in Europe.  Haven't been there, but it's worth a visit, if you're interested in history.

If you are transferring to a plane bound to the USA there's a lot of extra security. You'll need too much of the 5 hours to make a trip out worth it.

How about transferring from USA to TLV; how much time do have to leave the airport?

Has anyone seen the new kosher vending machine in FRA? Does it have any "real" food, or is it just snacks, candy etc?
