israeli yeshiva boy.. hes pretty fluent ;) ... I will look into it.. I also feel that going to a college would benefit him in the long run because schooling in english from the begining may be the best thing for him.. but maybe he can do both.. who knows. Im so new to this stuff- ive never been to college nor did i ever have any interest in learning about this sorta thing. But gotta help out here!
True college may help, but mostly it's a waste of time and money IMHO. If your husband would like to get a BA quickly and wants to know where to start feel free to PM me for contact info. I'd be happy to speak with him and explain what I did.

You keep saying that. Its very true and a very good attitude, the problem is, as jj posted earlier, for some people its very impractical to do certain things at certain times.

Agreed.

@Mocha I agree we only live once and if someone has a dream that they would give everything for then that person can do most anything. But we are dealing with real people who have lives they are already living. There are more factors then just a will for it. The decision isn't made yet so there are many factors to take into account.

Be careful of these degrees that you get in a few months. I am currently applying to schools and if you come with these degrees you really need to hit a homerun on the DAT"s for the admission committees to look at you. they really don't look favorably at these degrees. Also, the pre-reqs that you need are impossible, positively impossible no matter how much will you have  :-[, to do it in under a year. And that is only if you are really strong in the sciences. Best advice I ever got was to take it slow. Trying to do it too fast will only cost you in the long run. I've seen too many people trying to do summer orgo and crippling their GPA beyond repair.

Still has a long road, he's trying to get a peds residency.
Hopefully will help that the head of the local program davens at our shul :)

They moved here 3 years ago from BOS for the school and liked it so much that he only applied here :)

Wow I really wish him luck. It seems tough getting into a residency these days. And only applying to one place seems risky really hope he gets it. Funny how a lot of top positions in Dental Schools are Jews. The dean of USC is Avishai Sadan (former tank commander in the IDF  8)).
Do you have specific questions?
You in d-school now?

You in d-school now?

Every Jew answer every question with a question?

I'm not, I know people who are, at Penn mainly. If you have a specific question I can try and get answers. Right before holiday break so might be hard now.
