I would change the $95 on the chase BA Avios card. I am on the fence on wether it is a good card to even keep or can I avoid paying the $95 annual fee on the card?

SPG is considered a hotel chain, not AMEX. And it was set up before they had a CC.
Chase forced CO and UA to reduce the earnings though after their credit card was gaining traction.

AmEx can make the argument that they, too, have strong partners, yet they offer bonuses. Let's not kid ourselves... this isn't about delivering value to us. It's about continuing to wail on AmEx.

I'd specifically mention trying to make the play for AS, as opposed to AA (which are evidently inextricably linked to Citi).

Who spends on the UAE? Adding that sort of bonus to their stalwart, the SP, would make it even more attractive...
