Always been YMMV with AA and UA.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Had a few tickets on hold lately. Booked one and called to cancel within 24H because online it stated that only the taxes will be refunded (minus close in). The rep tells me that the 24H is from the booking time, not the ticketing time. I said not true, he went to check then confirmed to me that it is indeed from the ticketing time, and he told me that he put in a maunal refund for the $75 close in fee.

Today I called to cancel a res and book one instead, was told again the same story that its from booking time, but he made me a exception.....

Sorry if this question was answered somewhere, I searched and did not see an answer.
Does anyone know - when booking United award tickets for yourself and your spouse, can you combine accounts? I.e. both my wife and myself have a Saphire account and a United account, and I need to transfer out the Chase points before I close the account. Should I deposit all the points from both Saphire cards into the same account (let's say mine) or does it not matter.

Deposit them all into one UA account.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

Can I combine mine and my wife's United account? Because I opened up a United cc for both of us, so there are some points that are already in her account

Nope. Not without a hefty fee.

OK, so when I end up making award tickets, can I pull from both accounts for the same award ticket? Will that be a fee too?

You can book a one-way from each account if that helps.

So since I already have some points in my wife's account, wouldn't it make sense to try to deposit into both mine and her's equally and then when it is time to book, I can just book one ticket from each?
