see thats stupid and i know where u live. :-) jk. But in my area recently three ppl have had robberies.  Heck my order from BBB was stolen from my front door. And there have countless times ppl have tried to steal our car (keep w/soft top) but to no avail. So yes I must say growing up we left everything unlocked. Its a whole new world now a days

The cleaning help on my block is all Polish  :P
But yes it's not as safe as it once was although compared to the rest of the world we're still doing fine.

But, I did see the Vilna gaon's Kever, Reb Chaim Ozer etc; The shul and old jewish quarter, the place  where Avraham ben Avraham was Burnt HY"D.
