Hatzlacha. Doesn't sound fun!
Bus got through 25 minutes later. (I stayed on because it didn't look like Modiin had any good options.)
Instead of going to the chasunah, I went to the exit of Kiryat Sefer to get a bus, figuring it would only get worse. There were about sixty people at the bus stop but no buses.
About 15 minutes later, a car pulls up to the bus stop. I peer in - it is a seven seater jeep type thing (sorry, I don't know cars) with a young male driver tapping on a smartphone. He looks up at me and says, "Yerushalayim?" I responded, "Im efshar?" He's like, "Kanes!" He waits until all the seats are full and speeds off. When one of the people tried to ask how much, he was upset at the guy. "Chinam! Ma pitom?"
He took us to Tzomet Ramot but buses were still running. Even with some traffic outside of Givat Zeev, he got us back in a half hour. (Avg twice the speed limit. Yikes...)
