This is a thread to post where you are right now.

If you couldn't read the title and decided to just click it.

For easy reference, here’s Wikipedia’s list of airport codes. The list is too long for one article, so you have to click on the letter that the code begins with to get a list of airports that start with that letter.

Unfortunately when I landed in JNB my smallest note on me was 50 euros.. when the custom officers jumped over his desk and gave me a hug, I realized I overpaid by 200x  ;D

exactly. My advice to anyone going to such places including Egypt, have a bunch of singles. Even better, get half dollars and tell them its dollar coins.

Gotta appreciate Israel's one and only neighboring country willing to accommodate this.

Is this considered a risky flight on a Friday?

Everyone has a different definition of risky but technically yes.

My rav told me it was ok.

If the flight would have been significantly delayed I would have just stayed in Miami for shabbos.

The scheduled arrival was more than 5 hours before shabbos and I was staying pretty close to the airport so the only concern I really had was a delay after landing in LGA and that left enough time for that.

Also I was happy to see a shop in the airport selling challah just in case I would get stranded for shabbos.  ;)

Definitely good to have milk challah on shabbos. Is there even a hechsher?
