I love jury duty. I sit there thinking, pick me pick me.
I might be asking for trouble here but I agree with Chaim on this one.
All of us citizens and residents of these United States of America get to enjoy a somewhat functional judiciary system which is put together by a joint effort on many people's part.
Granted that I've never been called yet, I don't understand why people try to get out of this benefit and responsibility that we have.
Why should someone else be called more often just because you value you time/job/family/(insert your excuse here) over someone else's?
