Was just about to post this, they say it takes about 3 years to adapt.
Heard from multiple people who can't stand heat and after a few years don't mind it anymore.

It's a problem for those who set their AC to 67 and expect their body to get used to the heat. The drastic change in temperature is bad for the body.

For my house 73° is comfortable year round. Anything less is too cold.

I have not acclimated to NY weather. I only post here that FL is worse, not that it is good. Granted, JNB is about as close to perfect as you could wish for weather-wise and likely tougher to acclimate from.

It was implied by your question. Asking if someone doesn't get hot is like asking if someone doesn't get cold.

I never suggested I don't get hot. I said bodies acclimate and people often like where they live.

When I go to Cleveland, my skin cracks, and my lips hurt from the lack of Humidity. I wake up multiple times a night with a soar throat in Cleveland.

Is Cleveland a terrible place to live because of that?

Same things happen when northers travel down south, but different symptoms.

If you want to tell me the benefits of living in FL outweigh the pitfalls, fine. I mean you're wrong, but whatever. But to say the heat isn't really that much of an issue? Come on.
