Flew here on Air Saint Pierre - the only airline that flies to this territory - from YYT. Their flight are expensive.. the only alternative way is a ferry from Newfoundland but it leaves from Fortune, which is a good few hours always from STJ. The airport is very modern, and sees between 100-200 passengers each day maximum.

The island gives a European feel. Places are shut in middle of the day and open again towards the evening, that’s not just for restaurants but also for groceries and other stores too.

Random stuff: they are the only North American location that is GMT -3. In fact they are 30 minutes ahead of Newfoundland which is to their east. It’s not often that you fly west and go ahead in time zone.

They use the euro and they use European outlets, people are friendly. Now if only the weather cleared a little, it’s very foggy and overcast.
