For easy reference, here’s Wikipedia’s list of airport codes. The list is too long for one article, so you have to click on the letter that the code begins with to get a list of airports that start with that letter.

You didn't have A1-15 or all the extra leg room was already taken by the preboarders?

Pre-boarders can't sit in exit row.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Assuming they're actually disabled or traveling with children etc. but what about all the others that preboard to get the better seats?

Those that board before A1-15 are not allowed to sit in exit rows.
Disabled would board before A1-15 and families with children board between A and B. Military is also between A and B.
Who else pre-boards?

Ah interesting. Didn't realize it was an official rule. Do the FA actually enforce it?

This is what I was referring to:
Just boarded a Southwest flight and counted 28 pre boarders on this flight. To me, this seems like the biggest flaw in the Southwest boarding system. If they are going to monetize early check-in, and a-list boarding, they are delivering a poor result, when you board at A31 and 60 or so people are already onboard.

7 of the 28 were wheelchair passengers. They announced anyone who can walk without assistance from the wheelchair to the plane can board first. Each one sprang up within a few seconds. But the other 20+, are there any measures in place to ensure someone has a valid reason to pre-board?

FA stand in the exit rows. They announce on the plane when pre-boarders end. Always is enforced on my flights.

Just exits but I don't know if front row has extra room. They are always taken by pre-boarders.

I've seen the miraculously healed switch seats shortly after preboarding. I'm sure if you search for it, you'll find some online talk about it.

I have seen them running off the plane when we exit. WN planes do have healing powers.  :)

Just flew KE86 in J. Haven't flown any other Asian carriers but I was not impressed with the hard or soft product. Always cool being on the top floor in the 747 though.

I wrote a KE F TR on DDMS years ago. Very weak hard and soft product.

CX, JL, NH they are not.

I found them to be quite enjoyable. The hard product on the 747-8 in F is spacious and private, and the service was very good.

Yeah. The seat was very hard trying to sleep without a mattress pad and the service level just didn’t match what I’ve seen or read about the other Asian carriers. Not sure how J compares to F.
