Aboard UA90

Booked flight to TLV 3 hrs ago, flight departure is in 10 minutes.

United releasing award flights same day or a few hours before departure is real! I've been testing it this past week, and relied on that trend in getting this flight, I got the last seat on the plane!!! 
Gee I was thinking, it was a in economy and a middle seat no less >:(, but at least it gets me there (with the luxury of beyond able to book it 3 hours before departure).

At the flight help desk in the lounge attempted to see if perhaps a business seat became available due to a no-show etc.  The lady at the desk who seemed quite familiar with this flight, was so surprised that I booked the fight 1 hours ago, she said the flight is so full she can't understand how I got on altogether.

I get to the plane (where I am right now), and lo and behold my seat is bulkhead and in Economy Plus! :D

Swiping straight by that huge line to board was a pleasure!

I came home from maariv, checked availability on my UA Mobile app, nothing available.  Checked after Havdalah - ~half hour/45 min later, bingo!

Did I mention, I booked from a to z all on my cell phone (who's screen is still smashed).
