Chabad Downtown - walkable from many hotels, no Eruv, Shacharis on Shabbos followed by Kiddush, Friday night Minyan last weekend each month.
TheKollel - in the community, yes Eruv, Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre only points hotel in the Eruv, Airbnb options, all Minyanim, free Shabbos meals. Some hotels downtown (outside the Eruv) are about an hour walk.

They stay open for you.

If u give alamo flight info they stay open no matter how late? Do you have to call when you land or they'll just stay (not sure I'll have phone)?

will my big kid enjoy it or its not made for kids ?

You can go for 4-5 days and that should be enough time. If you want to go to whistler you can do 5-7 days.

I think Vancouver is suitable for all ages and your kid should have fun.

Def try to get First one way and you have one more day to book with US for 50k roundtrip, but its hard to find 3 seats especially not within a week or so. If you can't get First try to get biz as it makes the trip more enjoyable IMO.

I did it last month - zaatar did in fact close and the food in cx f was still gross/ inedible

I thought food from New York to Vancouver was pretty bad too. Would recommend u bring something along
