They stay open for you.

If u give alamo flight info they stay open no matter how late? Do you have to call when you land or they'll just stay (not sure I'll have phone)?

You can go for 4-5 days and that should be enough time. If you want to go to whistler you can do 5-7 days.

I think Vancouver is suitable for all ages and your kid should have fun.

Def try to get First one way and you have one more day to book with US for 50k roundtrip, but its hard to find 3 seats especially not within a week or so. If you can't get First try to get biz as it makes the trip more enjoyable IMO.

According to Dans trip report http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/24056
The food from Vancouver to New York was inedible, that was written in 2012, has anyone flown with Cathay Pacific on that route recently, has anything changed? How was the food from Vancouver?
Thanks.

Know someone who flew a few months ago and nothing has changed. Best would be to get some great falafel from Zaatar for the plane.
