What Midsize Should I lease?
« on: June 25, 2012, 11:14:15 AM »
I'm looking to lease a midsize in Brooklyn. (Yes, I'll be registering it out of Brooklyn to avoid paying $425 a month for insurance).

I'm considering:

1: The 2013 Altima
2: Honda Accord SE
3: Sonata
4: Honda Insight

Wouldn't like to pay much more then $230-250 a month
Looking for the cheapest model that has leather seats.
Would like to lease for 24 months but 36 is OK
Open to the idea of other cars, what do you drive and enjoy?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

How does registering a car in Brooklyn save you $450/mo insurance?

I see. I'm sure you considered if it comes to court they can claim your insurance wasn't valid, but that's totally up to you.

There's a thread here somewhere about lease in the $100 range.

If you want an altima '12, Nissan of Devon PA has it for 39 months at $120/mo + $3500 down.

Looks like I'll just go with the Accord SE.

27 month lease at $209 a month. Has leather seats too!

Plus Honda has a $1500 damage waiver that no one else has.

I'm not telling what to do - but registering a car in a different location than it really is, is insurance fraud, In big payout situations they are likely to investigate (they wanna find a way not to have to payout) and they wont cover.

I know of a case first hand that this happened to someone

You're trusting someone who will probably find himself behind bars soon. Either way, this 'broker' is gonna hurt allot of people, RCH'L.
